Permanent makeup creates a polished appearance that reduces the need for daily makeup applications, giving you more time to focus on what matters most. Whether you're heading to work, hitting the gym, or going out for a night on the town, you'll always look put together with zero effort.
A full set of new brows is achieved through an initial 2-session process, scheduled 6-8 weeks apart. During your first appointment, "before" photos will be taken, and your artist will assess your skin, pre-map the ideal brow shape for your face, and discuss color expectations. Your new brows will then be created. At your touch-up, the brows will be perfected by refining the shape, adjusting color, and addressing any imperfections. (Pricing not included.)
As required by the NJ Board of Health, you must complete an extensive online "New Client" packet prior to your first appointment.
Additionally, a consent form must be filled out before every scheduled visit at the Skin and Body Klinic Aesthetic & Wellness Center.

Permanent makeup is ideal for clients who want long-lasting definition, have sparse or thinning brows, lead busy lifestyles, or struggle with makeup application. A consultation is required to ensure PMU is safe and appropriate for your skin type and medical history.
Question 4: What is the healing process like?
Healing typically takes 7–10 days for the surface layer and 4–6 weeks for full pigment settling. Light flaking, tenderness, and temporary darkening are normal. You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results.
Question 5: How should I prepare for my appointment?
To ensure the best healed results, avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood thinners 24 hours before your appointment. Discontinue use of retinol, acids, and exfoliants on the treatment area for one week prior. Arrive with clean skin and your usual brow or lip makeup if you’d like the artist to see how you typically style the area. If you’ve recently had Botox, fillers, chemical peels, or microneedling near the treatment area, please schedule your PMU appointment at least 2–4 weeks after those services.
